世界が求めているものは、シンプルで美しいもの。
世界の基準に立ち返ること、それは自身のセンスの根底にある。

What the world wants is something simple and beautiful.
Returning to the world's standards is at the root of one's sense of style.

　さて、最近色々と困ることがありまして。
　デザインの仕事を他の方に依頼したのですが、なかなか相手との交渉がまとまらず…。
　先方の提出してくるデザインでは、どうしても違和感が出てしまう場面が多くありました。

　私がデザインを作り上げ、これを作ってくれと先方に見せても伝えたいことがうまく伝わらないこともあり、どうやって分かるように伝えようかと思っていました。
　そこで私の作成したイメージの数値を測ってみたところ、私の理想の図形から見えてきたのは「1:1.6」の値でした。

　黄金比『1:1.618』
　そして、日本人に好まれる白銀比『1:1.414』
　これらの値を参照して、図を作成していただいたところ、しっくりと来るデザインが完成しました。

　私の悩みの根底には、とてもシンプルな解決策があったのです。

　気づけば分かる簡単な問題。
　しかし、知らなければ永遠と悩んでしまう問題。
　その答えは、世界の基準が教えてくれました。

　答えのない課題に困ったときは、最も美しいとされているものを頼ること。
　世界的な基準を信じることで、一つの答えを得ることができ、それはきっと自分自身をも高めてくれることでしょう。

　この考えが、皆さんの何かに役立てばと思います。

Well, I've been having a lot of trouble lately.
I asked someone else to do the design work, but I couldn't reach an agreement with them...
There were many instances where I felt something was wrong with the design that the other party submitted.

Even when I created a design and showed it to the person I wanted to make, sometimes I couldn't convey what I wanted to convey, so I was wondering how I could convey it in a way that would make it understandable.
So, when I measured the numerical value of the image I had created, the value that appeared from my ideal shape was "1:1.6".

Golden ratio "1:1.618''
And the silver ratio "1:1.414'' preferred by Japanese people
After referring to these values and creating a diagram, we were able to create a design that felt right.

At the root of my troubles was a very simple solution.

A simple problem that you can figure out.
However, if you don't know about it, you will be worried forever.
The world's standards have given you the answer.

When you are faced with a problem without an answer, rely on what is considered to be the most beautiful thing.
By believing in global standards, you can get an answer that will surely help you improve yourself as well.
