台風の朝 (typhoon morning)

何がやって来るのか、流れを、変化の予兆を逃さなければ、適切に対応することができる。

　九州に昨晩から本日にかけて、台風がやってきておりました。
　幸いなことに、と申しますか、私の住んでいる場所に台風は直撃しなかったのですが、皆さんは大丈夫だったでしょうか。

　そんな無風の朝、雨の心配がありましたので傘を持ち、いつも通りに散歩に行っておりますと、散歩の終わり頃にかなり湿った南風が雨を伴いながら吹いてきました。
　その南の空に向かって並んで飛んでいく三羽の鳥たち。

そうだね。

そっちに台風はないよ。

ここだと南が今一番安全な方角に違いない。

それを知ってか、知らずか。
ふと湧いた心の声より

　おそらく、本能で分かっているのでしょうね。

　普段から風の力を借りて生きている彼らは、きっと私達よりも風に詳しいはず。
　どうすれば最も安全なのかを分かっているのでしょう。

　しかし、案の定というか、私も傘を差していたものの、傘を両手で持たないといけない始末に。
　私も風をよんで、出来る限り濡れないようにと帰宅しましたが、風をよむというのは難しいものです。
　やはり多少は濡れてしまいます。

　しかし、何も考えずに傘をさすよりは幾ばくか濡れ方はマシだったことでしょう。

　そして、散歩に行く前に風を読もうとしていれば、きっと濡れずに済んだことでしょう。

　この考えが、皆さんの何かに役立てばと思います。

A typhoon hit Kyushu from last night to today.
Luckily, the typhoon didn't hit the place where I live, but I hope everyone was okay.

On such a windless morning, I was worried about the rain, so I grabbed my umbrella and went for a walk as usual.
Three birds flew side by side toward the southern sky.

"I agree.
There are no typhoons over there.
South must be the safest direction here.
Either you know it or you don't."

You probably know it instinctively.

Because they usually rely on the power of the wind to live, they must be more knowledgeable about it than we are.
I guess they know how to do it the safest way.

However, as expected, even though I was holding an umbrella, I had to hold it with both hands.
I also tried to block the wind and not get wet as much as possible, but it's difficult to all block the wind.
I got a little wet.

However, it would have been a little better to get wet than to put up an umbrella without thinking about it.

And if I had tried to read the wind before going for a walk, I'm sure I wouldn't have gotten wet.
